Introducing funding loop
Funding Loop is a simple-to-use portal that allows parents to complete their funding documents online, making it quicker and easier to access their funding entitlement successfully.
Parents of children who already receive funding at one of our nurseries, or will be funded in the next term, will be invited to create a Funding Loop account to receive their child's documents securely.
We advise all parents to log into Funding Loop as soon as they receive their invitation.
Funding Loop allows parents to:
- Access the portal from a computer, tablet or mobile phone
- Receive important information about funding
- View all funding claim documents
- Complete all mandatory funding forms digitally
- Submit funded childcare codes
- Speed up the funding claims process
- Be reassured that all data is held securely
All families entitled to funded childcare are advised to apply for and submit their code as soon as they are eligible to ensure their funding is allocated efficiently.
What is funding loop ?
We are delighted to introduce our families to Funding Loop, our reliable partner for processing Government childcare funding claims. Funding Loop is an easy-to-navigate portal that enables parents to complete their funding documents online, streamlining the process for accessing their funding entitlements.
How does it work?
To access Early Years Funding for your child, you need to complete a “Parental Declaration” form, which includes information about both you and your child. These forms must be filled out multiple times during your child's time at the nursery. Since much of the required information has already been submitted to the nursery, completing and returning these paper forms can be a complicated process for everyone involved.
What funding loop doesn't do
Funding Loop operates independently of the Local Authority; it serves solely as a tool to simplify the process of completing Parental Declaration forms for both nurseries and parents or caregivers.
Please note that Funding Loop will NOT verify 30-hour codes every three months for eligible parents. It is essential that parents/carers revalidate their codes with HMRC every three months to maintain eligibility.

At New Beginnings, we prioritise security immensely. Funding Loop is a third-party service that has undergone independent testing by security experts. We are confident that data stored securely in the cloud is significantly safer than being left on paper in cabinets.
