Gold standard at New beginnings
Gold standard in first aid practice
We are proud that every member of staff across all our nurseries is required to be a qualified and trained paediatric first aider, ensuring that children are cared for by teams who have the knowledge and confidence to respond in an emergency.
For the past 10 years, we have also been committed members of the Millie’s Mark community, continually strengthening our first-aid knowledge, confidence and practice. Millie’s Mark recognises the importance of keeping first-aid skills current and embedding them into everyday nursery practice.
The NDNA feature celebrates this commitment and shares the experience of our team responding to a medical emergency, alongside a parent’s perspective on the professionalism, compassion and reassurance they received.
Case study : How our Rainham team swiftly put their training into action
We are incredibly proud to be featured in NDNA’s Nursery News as part of the 10-year celebration of Millie’s Mark. The feature celebrates our commitment to paediatric first aid, safeguarding and keeping children safe, highlighting the professionalism, teamwork and compassion of our team when responding to a medical emergency. It also shares a parent’s perspective on the reassurance and support they received, which makes this recognition particularly meaningful to us.
