Funded Childcare at New Beginnings

How can I claim funding at New Beginnings ?

Eligible working parents of children under compulsory school age may be entitled to up to 30 hours of government-funded childcare per week, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.

Families can usually access their funded childcare from the term after they become eligible. Funding terms begin on 1 January, 1 April and 1 September.

Parents and carers can apply for a childcare funding code up to 16 weeks before their child turns 9 months old. Applications must be completed before the relevant deadline to ensure funding can be accessed from the following term.

Once issued, your funding code must be provided to New Beginnings so that we can validate the code and apply the funding to your childcare place.

To apply for a new code or renew an existing code, please visit the government’s Apply for Childcare Support page or contact HM Revenue and Customs on 0300 123 4097.

We understand that childcare costs can place pressure on family finances, and we are committed to helping families access the support available to them. Please visit our Affordable Childcare page for further information.
