Key Person Approach
Relationships are an extremely important part of helping children develop a strong sense of identity, belonging and emotional security. Very young and non-verbal children especially benefit from the support of trusted adults who know and understand them well enough to interpret their behaviour, communication and emotional needs.
Our strong Key Person approach enables practitioners to build meaningful relationships with children and families, helping each child feel safe, valued and understood. Through these relationships, our practitioners are able to respond sensitively to each child’s individual personality, interests and stage of development.
We believe in equality and inclusion for every child. We recognise that all children are unique, and that some may require additional support in developing relationships, confidence and independence. Communication with our parents and carers is key, at New Beginnings we have a variety of ways in which we like to communicate please see below.
PARENTMAIL
Connects our parents/carers efficiently and reliably using modern technology making essential communication much easier. When parents/carers enrol at New Beginnings you will be signed up onto our Parentmail account.
FAMLY
Each New Beginnings nursery has its own Famly account. When you join us, you will be set up with your own personal account. Through Famly, you will be able to view and pay your nursery fees, follow your child’s learning and development journey, and keep up to date with our nursery news feed. New Beginnings has our own Pinterest page in which we are able to share with staff, parents and carers ideas on lots of fun activities we can carry out with the children this requires parents/carers to register in order to use this facility and access our Pinterest page.
